On a sunnier day last week we drove out to the construction site to see if anything was happening and, lo and behold, the house had "arrived." Somehow I can't imagine this is all of it, but who knows? Well, the builder knows, I hope...





If you recall, last week we mentioned the truck with the roof trusses got stuck while trying to deliver. They had to unload them by hand to lighten the load and so the are stacked rather haphazardly.



The builder called on Friday to say the framing will actually begin on Monday and should take only three days! That sounds amazingly quick to me but perhaps they mean only framing the exterior walls rather than all the interior walls also. We'll see...
