snow. Snow! SNOW!!!
We woke up this morning to SNOW!
Amazing amounts of snow!
All around the house!
Snow!
This is what we saw out the Library window (though I actually stepped outside to take the picture).
Can you believe all that snow?
And the streets! We may never dig out! Where are the snow-plows?
Will the roof end up collapsing?! I hope the builder took into consideration the horrific blizzards when designing the structure.
Massive snow drifts everywhere! I wish we had a sled to use!
Okay, okay. Not so much snow. But the forecast says two to four inches overnight tonight.
By the way. We got telephones installed finally on Wednesday. Our new home number is 760-240-7694. We do still have the cell phone numbers.
As soon as we get internet up and running at the new house we can move the office there and be done with the rental house. Maybe another week?

Have you considered getting a Siberian Husky, or perhaps an Alaskan Malumute? Are you sure that Duchess will be able to handle the load?
Oh my goodness! Will they airlift in supplies? Do you have cross country skis? Or snow shoes at the very least?
Seriously though - aren't you going to get a lot more snow tonight?
Oh Lordy! That makes our snow up in the Rockies look like sugar on a cookie. But seriously, you had me laughing. That was great. It has been about -20 in the mornings here. Just a little nippy. If you need any snow supplies, you let me know, we have dog sled teams up here that have raced in the Iditorod, I bet they can make that distance if needed.
Okay - I bet you have LOTS more snow this morning - Saturday. Post pics!
hee hee hee! you are so funny, dad.
i was supposed to be taking kids to camp this weekend for winter camp, but it was a bit more "winter" than expected. the highways into santa cruz were closed so they had to postpone camp for three weeks! Can anyone say "day after tomorrow"?
It snowed quite a bit, but none of it stuck around. Up on the top of the hills it's looking quite white, but we only have puddles. It's still nice sitting in the library, sipping a hot cup of coffee looking at the "flurries" swishing around.
Hope you are all well, and warm
Donna
DONNA! How are you feeling a few days later? Whiplash? Sore? Take it easy up there - maybe put the painting on hold???
Yes, I am a bit stiff and sore. I haven't been painting, just packing. We have to be out of the rental by the end of the month and still lots to move. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to have him check my eyes, they feel "bulgy". Probably my sinuses, just want to be sure. Lots of asprin does the trick!!
Donna, I didn't even ask - how are you doing? Any lasting damage?
Hi David & Donna... How about fitting in a little blog for us? Pictures of the new home. Pictures of you two holding hands standing in your new living room in front of a crackling fire...
Keep it going!
Hey you two...
Finish this blog! You are in the house now, so I think you should change the opening statement (at the very least).
You don't even need to provide pictures. Heck, tell us about how Verizon ripped you off. Maybe I post a link to it, and someone will post that link, and so on, and so on...
Oh my gosh, you have snow in JULY? How crazy is that!!??!! Oh. I see. This is from a really long time ago. Huh.
Yeah, and here it is September, and the snow still hasn't melted ONE BIT.
Can you put something up, please? ANYTHING?
Wow! Early snow this year!!!
Looks like the 2006-2007 Winter is gonna be a white one!
