The rare and elusive Desert Crane...
In fact, so rare and elusive is the Desert Crane that we only saw the "tracks" of the crane when we visited the property Friday evening. Fortunately, our neighbors Rich and Rhonda were able to snap a picture before it disappeared (do I need to remind you to click on the picture itself to see the entire picture?):
Okay, okay. Just a little joke
You can see that a little bit of the exterior "walls" are getting plywood. The roof trusses have all been lifted on top of the framing and will, hopefully, be put into place next week.
And so we leave. One day, we will not have to leave... sniff, sniff.

Hi guys,
The truss elves were here all weekend and you would not believe what they have done, Wow! Hope you have time to come up and visit tonight. Before you all think that I am "gleeful" about snakes and things, I only like the non-venomous variety. I would never "gleefully" expose my soon to be neighbors to the less friendly critters in the vicinity, such as the scorpions, vinagaroons, taratulas, rattlesnakes, my son Steven (7)...(the small boy in the photo)..........oh, I better shut up before they call a realtor.
I got some new photos for you guys if you do not make it up here tonight.
Rhonda
