Wait! Wait! Don't rain just yet.

We visited the construction site Sunday the 11th. Took our best friends George and Linda to see it. Almost the entire roof and much of the exterior walls are covered in sheathing (which is like plywood but made just for this purpose). If you walk around inside you still have to look down at the base boards to see the shape of the rooms, everything is still "see-through." And, if you are a dog, they are all "run-through." Won't Duchess be disappointed when she will need to use doorways to run from one room to another.

The builder says next week should see windows arrive and the roof tiles beginning to go up. After that all the dramatic changes will be over, at least that can be seen from the outside. The interior electrical and plumbing will be done. Then the interior wall boards can go up which will make it much easier to see the room sizes.

Three shots of the standard perspectives...

This last one is of the front from Horizon Street. After clicking on the picture to expand it, if you look to the left in the one garage, what you are seeing there is a shower enclosures for one of the bathrooms. Cool!
